Dye Desalting/Concentration

Generally Reactive dyes are produced by chemical synthesis. Salt, small molecular weight intermediates & residual component are produced in the synthesis process. These salt & residual impurities must be removed before the reactive dyes are dried to save drying cost. MSSIPL provides dye desalting concentration system by using membranes. The system produces permeate stream with monovalent and divalent salts & desalted dye at reject stream. MSSIPL’s dye concentration / desalting system is effective for removing salts, increasing dye purity & improving product value.

Calcium and Magnesium removal from ink formulation

During dye production by chemical synthesis, salts like calcium, magnesium, chloride and sulphates are also produced. MSSIPL provides media-based system for calcium and magnesium reduction to reduce print head blockages, increasing productivity, decreasing maintenance, improving print quality and minimizing costs.

Filtration for Filterability Criteria of Ink Formulation

Ink could be contaminated by many sources during production. These can be of various types-fibers, solids and semi solids complicating production to an even greater degree. Often system recirculation is required to completely to eliminate a contaminant. The system filter has the burden of maintaining pigment concentration and color while removing contaminates and ensuring that grind standards are met.The use of quality inject filtration products is essential to reduce print head or fine nozzle blockages, increasing productivity, decreasing maintenance, improving print quality and minimizing costs. Cleanliness of the ink is required to avoid plugging the print heads or nozzles to ensure printer performance and longevity, so proper filtration technology will mean the success of your ink jet printer.
